Corian Solid Surface
Dupont Corian was the first solid surface and was invented in the 1960’s and has since proved itself to be a remarkably durable material that stands up well to daily use. Surfaces in Dupont Corian are renewable and damage can usually be repaired on site without having to replace the material.
We at NJDesign understand that choosing a worktop is one of the most important kitchen design considerations. Worktops are subject to the heaviest use and must be able to withstand all the daily demands of a kitchen, whilst being hygienic and easy to maintain. Choosing Dupont Corian gives you all of this as well as a dramatic finish to your room. We also offer a full range of sinks to compliment your work surface.
About Corian Solid Surface
Dupont Corian is a solid, non-porous acrylic material, reinforced with natural minerals, making it stain resistant and hygienic. It is non-toxic and under normal temperature conditions does not emit gases. It is available in a wide range of colours and can be formed to create flowing, streamlined shapes and joined inconspicuously for a seamless finish.
Colours and textures run through the entire thickness of the material and cannot wear away. Colours include translucent ranges which can be back-lit giving dramatic results in any project, be it a domestic or commercial setting. Dupont Corian can also be used to compliment other materials such as wood, metal, stone, glass, etc and can be printed with any digital image.
