The owner of Beko, Blomberg and Grundig brands have purchased the Pakistan home appliance manufacturer Dawlance for 258 million dollars. Dawlance are known for manufacturing refrigeration, microwaves, laundry, small domestic appliances, and air conditioners.

It was first founded in 1980 and employs over 3,000 staff and has three manufacturing sites with a revenue of 221millon dollars. Wow!

The CEO of Arcelik has said that they are progressing at a steady rate on a global scale and aspires to be a global player in its industry. Throughout the last decade alone, they have consistently expanded their global reach and doubled their sales turnover within the last 5 years and have retained fast growth throughout all their markets they operate.

They pride themselves on developing products that make a significant different in their customers lives and they have currently over 1,000 engineers in their R&D centres based in Turkey, Taiwan and Cambridge.

Over the last few years, their development in research has allied with their geographical manufacturing advantages and economics which in turn, means they are well experienced to provide services in European and Asian markets.

They want to combine their global expertise and innovation with Dawlance’s management team, this will strengthen Dawlance’s product offering and their brand position. They also expect to see clear advantages emerge regarding development and manufacturing for Pakistan and hopefully the rest of the world.
